The cold weather is upon us! i have recently attended a few call outs where customers have had problems with thier upvc doors.
The problem being that the plastic in your uPVC door contracts in the cold weather causing the alignment of the multipoint lock to be out of line with the keep.
If your your door has started to feel stiff when locking it is a good sign that you need your door adjusting. It is not always neccessary but with inevatably lead to failure, this could lead to a jammed door which would be a costly repair bill!
We would also service the multipoint lock and offer you advice on the type of locks available to you so you are covered under your insurance policy.
